Dad dream

We were somewhere in Europe, for some reason Norway comes to mind (not that i've ever been to Norway). We were renting a house there for about a week or so, it was very mountainous and the temperature was neutral. There was also another side plot about seeing a play...I knew the people in the play and almost felt like I was "in" the play. They had these HUGE tomatoes, they were like big hot house tomatoes, but the size of basketballs. The actors started throwing them at the audience...I then realize that there was a HUGE pile of these tomatoes on the stage. I was wondering how the sauce would turn out cooked...and how they could waste that much food on this play?...there was only about 50 people in the huge auditorium.

(this is reminiscent since I recently went to a small play my friend was in, and there were only about 7 of us in the audience-small independent showing)

The people in the play are at this house we're renting....or maybe we're staying their with them? The counter tops are all dirty in the kitchen. We need to check out soon so I start wiping off all the counters. It was a HUGE kitchen, with maybe 10 counters. I start throwing stuff in one pile that people need to take. My dad then comes in and tells me to "stop that! you don't need to do that" I was puzzled. Usually you have to clean up at homes. He says we're going to "miss the flight"

At some point my brother comes in and tells me I need to finish this painting for him. He hands it to me, and I say "yes, i will" and he was just solemn.

My dad then rushes us all in the car, even Morgan is there (this old lady I bring food too sometimes) she said she couldn't deal with the stress and would catch a later flight with someone else, someone I know, but can't remember right now.

My bro, dad and me all get in the car, and it's kinda like a video game, flying over hills, driving 100miles an hour, feeling that we are "going to miss the flight!!" we have ten minutes til the plane leaves, I remember looking at the clock and saying "we're not going to make it" and my dad still has to return this rental.

I then realize that I still have a pipe and weed on me, since our flight has a stop in Canada, before Cali, I don't want to risk it, so (without my dad seeing me) I take out the pipe and throw it over this fence. It instantly breaks (it's glass) and the top of the pipe is rolling around--then rolls in front of us like 50 feet. Luckily no one minds or takes much notice. I didn't have time to throw the weed.

We hear the overhead person saying our flight is ready for take off. There is no way we are getting on the plane. All our stuff is still in the car.

Last thing I remember about the dream was the map. I was looking at the plane route, but the world was shaped much differently, like it didn't have lines that man had made, it was the natural lay out of the land....the South in America was connected to Mexico...the North in Canada was connected to the great lakes. I remember not being able to find Oakland or Cali on the map, and how it all didn't really matter. Missing the flight didn't matter.

Waking up, I realized I needed to paint a painting for my brother. He has been really down lately, since his wife is bed-ridden until her birth happens. It's been a real hard month/year for him. I really wish I could connect with him more, but it just doesn't work since we are far away.
